Aaron and Lindsey booked me to shoot their wedding this coming April and before the big day they wanted to spend some time getting to know me by doing a photo shoot together. We picked a beautiful park in the Rancho Palos Verdes area for their engagement photo shoot and the weather cooperated beautifully. They are a beautiful couple and truly are madly in love with one another. We had a blast taking pictures and they are very happy with out the photos turned out. I can't wait to photograph their wedding. It's going to be an incredible day! Thank you Aaron and Lindsey for letting me play a part in your special relationship!
I had the wonderful privilege of capturing special memories of this happy, young couple at Terranea Resort and Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. It was a very small and intimate wedding, but the love that Vicki and Jakub had for each other was huge! Vicki is from Peru and Jakub is from Czek, but they are a match made in heaven. They asked me to capture their wedding on the cliffs surrounding Terranea Resort, a beautiful golf course and spa where Palos Verdes kisses the Pacific Ocean. We had such a wonderful time hiking around the Terranea trails, and the spark between the two of them was evident, as you can see from the photos. We also got to take some “announcement” photos to let the world know that they are already expecting their first baby! So it was a wedding and maternity shoot in one! Double deal! Thank you Vicki and Jakub for letting me capture happy memories of your Terranea wedding!
Noshi reached out to me on Yelp about doing a family portrait photo shoot at her beautiful home in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. As you can see, this is a very beautiful family, in a very beautiful home, so it was delightful to take pictures and capture some happy memories for them. The family portrait session started indoors, and we moved outside to take pictures when the sun got a little lower in the sky. Their home in Ranch Palos Verdes has beautiful vistas overlooking San Pedro, Los Angeles, and looking up to Palos Verdes, so the outdoor backdrops were very visually engaging. Their family made me feel very welcomed and comfortable in their home, and that comfortable feeling carried over into the pictures and photography. I am so happy I got to take pictures of this beautiful family, and I hope to take more portraits of them in the future as their family continues to grow. God bless you Usman family!
I had the great honor of photographing some of my best friends in the whole world. We did a family portrait session in the beautiful Averill Park in San Pedro, CA. The light was nice, and the family was beautiful. The green nature of the park makes for some very vivid photographs. We had fun and captured some happy memories of this wonderful family. I photographed them with my Nikon D750, and my D700. The sun was going down over the west side of Averill Park, so I had the family walk up the grassy green hills and took some photos with the sun shining long shadows. Besides the family, we also had Grandma and Grandpa along for the ride. We were able to convince them to get in on a few photos. I didn’t post any of the shots to this blog for the sake of space, but they are glad that they jumped in to capture some memories of them with their first grandbabies. What a joy it is to photograph good friends at a beautiful park! I love San Pedro!
I had the wonderful privilege to photograph the wedding of Ani and Craig Gerber at the beautiful Wayfarers Chapel in Palos Verdes, CA. This was the first time that I’ve shot at the Wayfarers Chapel and I was in awe at the beauty of the chapel’s architecture. If you don’t know, the Wayfarers Chapel is famous for its weddings and the chapel has literally has back to back weddings all day, every day, all year long. Somehow Ani and Craig were able to get a date booked for their wedding and called me for my photography services. They were a very sweet couple and truly loved each other, so it was easy capturing special memories of the happy couple. Thank you Ani and Craig for letting me photograph your wedding! I wish you all the best and a happy, long and fruitful marriage!
I got a last minute phone call from Angelo and Liliya (same name as me!) asking if I could photograph their wedding at the Los Verdes Golf Course this month. They were on a limited budget but we made it work and I was so happy to meet them! The Los Verdes Golf Course is a beautiful place to have a wedding and Angelo and Liliya were a beautiful couple. Liliya is from Ukraine and recently moved here, so we had something in common (our language and an international marriage!). I met them at the Los Verdes Golf Course toward the end of their ceremony and we did about a half hour of portrait shots. We even got to ride on the back of a golf cart to a place to shoot some portraits. In all, it was a lot of fun and they love how the photos turned out. Congratulations Liliya and Angelo on your new marriage, and may God bless you!
Polina and Dave reached out to me on Yelp for an engagement photo shoot in San Pedro. We picked Dean Dana Park for the location of the engagement shoot because it overlooks both the city and the harbor. We opted for an early morning photo session, and Polina and Dave were adventurous enough to agree to a 6am start time. The light was just perfect and the couple was beautiful. There was so much love and connection between them. I was so excited I was able to photograph their engagement, and I am excited for their upcoming marriage! Dean Dana park is such a great location in San Pedro for photo shoots because of the breathtaking vistas on top of the hill. More thoughts after the engagement pictures.
Here are a couple quick shots from a recent family photo shoot at the Trump National Golf Course in Palos Verdes. My good friends, the Silva family asked if I could do a family portrait session at the Trump National Golf Course in Palos Verdes for George’s birthday. George and Elva are realtors here in the San Pedro, Rancho Palos Verdes area and they are also good friends from church. We met at the Trump National Golf Course at 6:45pm, just in time for golden hour. Even still, the sun was pretty bright, a little brighter than I’d have liked. But the photos still turned out nicely, and the photo shoot was fun for the whole family. Happy Birthday George! Thanks for letting me take some photos of you and your beautiful family!
