Another wonderful San Pedro family, looking for portraits in their hometown of San Pedro. We picked Friendship Park for the location of this photo shoot, and the lighting turned out just perfect. Domi and Jimmy go to church with my husband and I, and Jimmy works with my husband. So we had a great time together. Their daughter was turning 5, so to celebrate they decided it was time for family portraits. I'm very happy with how the pictures turned out. Love this beautiful family. Sandra & Geir contacted me from SWEDEN! They wanted to come to Los Angeles to do a private wedding, just the two of them at the Norwegian church in San Pedro. Sandra and Geir truly love each other, understand each other, and care for each other. Their love and care for one another was so evident. That's what made it a joy to photograph their wedding. Their friends found out via Facebook that they were in Los Angeles and crashed the wedding. It was a fun surprise! So we drove around San Pedro together taking pictures at various location. The lighting and the couple were both lovely. :) Thank you Sandra and Geir for letting me photograph your special, secret wedding! May God bless your marriage and your growing family! This is truly a wonderful family. Deborah scheduled this family portrait session to capture some photographs for their Christmas cards. Unfortunately, her dress didn't arrive in the mail in time, so we had to scramble for another date to do the photo shoot. Thankfully I had a weeknight available, and it actually worked out for our benefit, because there was literally NO ONE on the trails with us! Often Terranea can have a lot of patrons, which makes it hard to do photo shoots, but because we moved the shoot to a weeknight we were left all alone to capture beautiful pictures on the scenic beaches. Looks like someone upstairs was looking out for this beautiful, happy family! ;) Click to see full size, uncropped images.
Gail and Jose reached out to me to photograph their wedding in San Pedro, at the Double Tree Inn. The location was beautiful, by the wharf with all the boats, and the weather was perfect. The couple was perfectly gorgeous to match the beautiful day. We captured some wonderful photos of the happy couple's wedding day. There was lots of wonderful friends and family their to celebrate their wedding, and it was truly a special event. I am so thankful that I got to be a part of their beautiful wedding. I wish them the happiest marriage to come! Click to see the full, uncropped image.
The Blaustein Family reached out to me for some family portraits. They are San Pedro locals, so San Pedro was the place of choice for the photo shoot. There are some really nice natural spots in San Pedro, if you know where to look. One of them is White Point Beach, which is the location we ended up doing for our family portrait session. We had a fun time, and their little boy had a lot of energy to keep us all giggling. Here are a few photos from the shoot. Click to see the full image.
I have had many chances to work with the wonderful Schenkoske family, and so when we had a chance to work together again, I jumped on it. I love having longstanding relationships with my clients and seeing their families grow and progress through life. This time we did our photo shoot at Carmel Beach in Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and this day was no exception. We caught a perfect sunset with beautiful colors, and the family just looked perfect. I hope I get to capture many more memories of this wonderful family.
My photography career and business started in Monterey. So when we had the chance to vacation there, I reached out to my previous clients to see if anyone was interested in a photo shoot. Thankfully Emily and Devin Kile responded, and I was so happy to work with them again! I had captured Emily and Kile's engagement, then wedding, and now I had the wonderful chance to photograph their growing family, as they now have beautiful twin boys! The boys were SOOOO adorable, as the pictures show, and they had the BEST personalities. I've never worked with such easy kids! They stayed happy and giggly for the whole one and a half hour photo shoot. I love this beautiful family. Their love for each other and for God and others is so evident. I'm excited to see their beautiful family grow, and hopefully next time I vacation in Monterey I can capture them again. :)
Sonya reached out to me to do a maternity portrait photo session before her baby was born. We decided on White Point Beach in San Pedro (actually, we did two locations, Friendship Park, and White Point Beach). It was my first time doing a photo shoot at White Point Beach, and I loved the location. So beautiful and natural. The light was perfect for photography, and Sonya and her husband were amazing to work with. I'm really happy with how the maternity pictures came out. Thank you Sonya and James for letting me photograph these special memories!
I've had a streak of maternity photo shoots lately (and not even all of them are posted here). My most recent maternity photo session was with Edithza and Nick. They found a wooded location up in Palos Verdes, near Malaga cove to do their maternity shoot. It was my first time doing a photo shoot at that location, but it was really private and nice to have all the greenery. The palm trees especially were spectacular! I really enjoyed this photo shoot because they were such a kind and caring couple. I'm glad this little baby gets to be born to such a wonderful family. Thank you Edithza and Nick for letting me capture some special photos of you two (three!).
This is the second wedding I've had the privilege to photography at the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon. Lovely couple and lovely wedding. We had a pretty limited timeline (only 4 hours of photography) but the day flowed smoothly and beautifully. The whole family was there, including their beautiful two year daughter. The wedding ceremony and reception were both held ad the Inn of the Seventh Ray, and we traveled locally to capture some portraits with some nice nature...which was easy to find, because there is nature everywhere in Topanga Canyon. Thank you Heidi and Joseph for letting me capture your special day! I hope we can do more photo shoots of your beautiful family in the future.
